MY FACE TENDS TO GET REAL DRY AFTER I Wash it with regular soap. i wanted to purchase the acne system number 3 but i am wondering if i should purchase the dermawash and use it instead of the aqua kavi soap because i dont want my skin to dry out. KAVI Support Posted September 9, 2007 Report Share Posted September 9, 2007 Aqua KAVI and DermaWash have the same active ingredient, 1% colloidal sulfur (equivalent to 5% precipitated sulfur). DermaWash's cleansing component, however, is less drying than Aqua KAVI's, making DermaWash more suitable for dry skin. Because both products are non-comedogenic, pH-balancing, and contain the same sulfur formulation, they are equally effective in the treatment of acne, rosacea, and skin conditions that can be triggered by pH imbalance (e.g., eczema and psoriasis).
