Sulfur may not provide significant benefit in treating the symptoms of keratosis. Keratolytic agents such as salicylic acid or glycolic acid may be more effective, as they will exfoliate dead skin cells and reduce the tissue buildup commonly associated with keratosis. KAVI makes glycolic acid and salicylic acid masks of various strengths that may be applied on the skin to treat several forms of keratosis.

For treating blackheads, you may wish to look into KAVI Toner (used once per day as a final-stage cleanser). If blackheads are still forming, you could add Coral KAVI to your pore maintenance routine. Coral KAVI is also very good for acne. For even stronger treatment, Enhanced Retinol 0.30% (applied once or twice per day) will work more intensively to clear pores of dirt, oil, and any cellular debris. The strongest treatment available from KAVI for reducing blackheads comprises a weekly salicylic acid mask used in conjunction with KAVI Toner (applied nightly) and/or Coral KAVI. A KAVI salicylic acid mask is also very effective against acne.

As always, check with your physician for any medical advice, including use of KAVI products.
