Guest Tamara
Hello, Can I use a Glycolic Peel in conjunction with Retin A? I've been using Retin A for many years. What precautions do I need to know, and possibly you can tell me the best way to use the two products. Thanks for your help. I really appreciate it! Have a lovely day! KAVI Support
Concurrent use of Retin-A and glycolic acid requires that you take certain precautions. We would recommend you discuss the option with your physician to ensure you are exploring all necessary safety measures for your skin. In general, concurrent use of both products will make your skin more susceptible to the harmful effects of the sun, and adequate protection with a non-comedogenic sunblock is required. Additionally, concurrent use may result in some dryness and inflammation on sensitive skin. Be sure to monitor your skin and reduce application of either or both products accordingly.
