Guest John W
Why does your sulfur anti-acne lotion have precipitated sulfur rather than colloidal sulfur?
KAVI Support
Precipitated sulfur is larger in size than colloidal sulfur and isn't absorbed as rapidly, making it more effective in a lotion, which stays on the skin for a longer period of time. For products like soap and shampoo, which are on the skin for a short length of time, the goal is not to keep the sulfur on the skin but to get it absorbed before it's washed off.
